Helping students incorporate a study abroad experience into their four-year plan is a top priority for the College of Biological Sciences. The Learning Abroad Center provides a diverse array of options. Whether it’s your goal to study forest ecology in Costa Rica, marine biology in Australia or Denmark, health care in a developing country, or language and culture around the world, we hope you’ll join the list of CBS students who have studied abroad.

CBS Study Abroad Student Panel
What: CBS students will talk about their study abroad experiences—where they went, why they chose to go there, and what classes they took. A representative from the Learning Abroad Center will also be there to answer questions on how to start planning for a study abroad experience. Food will be served.
When: Wednesday, November 19, 4:45–6:15 p.m.
Where: 2-101 Hasselmo Hall
CBS Study Abroad First Steps Meetings
What: Come learn how to start planning for study abroad! We will highlight study abroad options of particular interest to CBS students and discuss academic planning considerations. The event will also include a “first steps meeting” which is required for all students who go abroad.
When:
- Monday, November 3, 1–2 p.m.
- Wednesday, December 3, 1:30–2:30 p.m.
Where: 6-101 Hasselmo Hall
Note: If you are unable to attend one of these meetings, please attend a regularly scheduled
First Steps Meeting at the Learning Abroad Center.
