NEW CBS UNDERGRADUATES
The college offers innovative courses that are rapidly becoming a model for biology education well beyond the U: From Nature of Life, which introduces incoming freshmen to the biological sciences and to one another during a three-day immersion course at Itasca Biological Station and Laboratories, to Foundations of Biology, a lecture-less course taught in a high-tech classroom where teams of students work together to solve real-world problems. Nature of Research and Careers for Biologists put transfer students on the fast-track to research experience and to achieving their professional goals.
As a student in the College of Biological Sciences, you'll have the opportunity to gain hands-on research experience working directly with faculty conducting basic research relating to human health, agriculture, biotechnology and environmental sciences.
