College of Biological Sciences Commencement Ceremony

The 2013 CBS Commencement Ceremony will take place at 7:30pm on Saturday, May 18, 2013. You are eligible to participate in commencement if you are expected to complete degree requirements in Fall 2012, Spring 2013, May/Summer 2013, or Fall 2013. We encourage you to participate and celebrate your upcoming accomplishment!

Please note that the RSVP deadline (March 17) has passed. You can still participate! If you have not submitted an RSVP, you can still check-in as outlined in the instructions. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that information submitted after the deadline will be included in the commencement program.

Announcements and Reminders

  • The CBS commencement ceremony will be available via a live stream at the following link. Please share this with ones who are unable to travel to the ceremony! http://www.livestream.com/umntv
  • When you arrive at check-in next Saturday, you will be asked how many guests are with you that night. Please have this number ready to ensure check-in moves swiftly.
  • Latex balloons are not allowed in Mariucci arena. Please do not bring balloons to the arena, and encourage your guests to do the same.
  • This document outlines all the logistics of the commencement ceremony. After reading this email and the attached document, if you have any questions, please contact CBS Student Services at 612-624-9717.
  • If graduates or guests require accommodations not already indicated on the RSVP form, please contact Darcy Fastner at dfastner@umn.edu.
