Programs Related to Plant Biology
Posted on October 16, 2006 - Jonathan
Schilling, Department of Bioproducts and Biosystems Engineering. I welcome
CBS undergraduates, as well as soon-to-be graduate students, to inquire about
working in my lab. I work mostly with wood-degrading fungi. Projects focus
on wood lignocellulose as a substrate for microbes (physiochemical or anatomical
predisposing aspects, fungal physiology and the role of environment in influencing
microbial wood colonization and wood chemistry/forest biogeochemistry).
