To prepare a competitive application please provide a clear picture of your
past scholastic performance, and academic and research potential. The preferred
performance level of GRE scores is above the 60th percentile. It is desired
that international applicants should score at least 600 (or 250 from a computer-based
test) on the TOEFL. International students
with M.S. degrees or prior research experience are given stronger consideration.
Once admitted to the program, students making satisfactory progress in their
coursework, research, and programmatic requirements will be supported for
either four (with prior M.S. degree) or five (with prior B .S. degree) academic
years subject to the availability of funding. Major sources for financial
support include: Research Assistantships, Teaching Assistantships, and Graduate
School Fellowships.
Please apply now! To maximize your chances for receiving a fellowship, research or teaching assistantship applications should be received by January 1st.
