Nature of Life Summer Itasca Experience

Incoming freshmen live and study in small groups with faculty and student peers for three days at Lake Itasca.

The core Nature of Life (NOL) summer experience will be participation in three intensive field/lab experience modules, each of which will be led by a faculty member with 12–15 student participants.

During the program students will also learn about the resources available at the University of Minnesota and get the chance to collaborate with peers, student mentors and faculty in constructing a community of scholars.

Students will get to meet one another over a game of volleyball or around the campfire, and form relationships that can see them through their undergraduate careers. Can't wait to see you there!
