Microbiology, Immunology & Cancer Biology (MICaB) Recruitment Luncheon

What: Luncheon for those interested in learning more about the MICaB program

Where: 450 Cancer Center Research Building (CCRB)

Information session for LSSURP participants interested in learning more about graduate school and completing a Ph.D. in the MICaB program, the process of preparing for and applying to Ph.D. graduate programs, and research career options for Ph.D.’s in the biological sciences.

The Microbiology, Immunology and Cancer Biology (MICaB) Ph.D. graduate program at the University of Minnesota offers a training program that emphasizes the interdisciplinary nature of biological research while providing opportunities for students to specialize in a specific research area of interest. The MICaB program prepares Ph.D. graduates for an array of research careers in the biological sciences.

At the luncheon, LSSURP participants will have an opportunity to meet with the MICaB Director and other faculty members, as well as current students in the program. There will be a presentation and ample opportunity to ask questions about graduate school and obtaining a Ph.D. in the MICaB program.

Lunch will be provided.
