Scholarships and fellowships

Education keeps getting more expensive; a fact almost too obvious to point out. And yet it’s easy to lose track of just how much it costs to go to college. Resident undergraduates at the University now pay approximately $9,173 a year for tuition and fees. When you add living expenses, that number is more like $20,000 a year.

CBS depends on support from alumni and donors to help take some of the burden off of already strapped students and parents through scholarships and fellowships. In 2005–06, 58 CBS scholarships and 16 fellowships were awarded—in addition to University-wide scholarships—because of the generous contributions of alumni and others.
