Our lab is currently working on several projects including an RNA interference study aimed at identifying Medicago truncatula genes involved in root development and symbiosis, a characterization of expressed genes in the white-rot fungus Trametes cingulata, and an investigation of the function of CDPK1, a calcium-dependent protein kinase found in M. truncatula. Students wanting laboratory experience should look at the Research Opportunities link and contact Steve Gantt.
