On September 25–27, 2009 alumni, friends, faculty and staff that have supported the Station gathered to honor our past and celebrate our future. Guests arrived on Friday night and gathered for a bonfire and refreshments. On Saturday, faculty led classes on Itasca history, nature photography and environmental research. The day culminated with a dinner and program. And on Sunday, guests enjoyed a farewell brunch before leaving at noon.
What a great opportunity to enjoy the natural beauty of Itasca, reminisce with old friends, make new friends, and learn about plans for Itasca’s next 100 years. Thank you!
