Downloading Files from the Transfer Space via the Web

1. Go to our website at http://www.cbs.umn.edu/ic



2. Click on the ?Imaging Center Transfer Space? link. A dialog box will appear asking for a User ID and a Password. The User ID and Password are both ?transfer.?



3. After clicking ?OK,? a page will load that will display all the files and directories on the Transfer server. Unfortunately, these files and directories are arranged randomly, so you must next find the files or directory that you want to download from by scanning the list.



4. When you have navigated through the site and have found a file you wish to download to your hard drive, press control and click on the file name. A menu will drop down with several options, select ?Download Link to Disk.?



5. Choose where you would like to save the file to and click ?Save.?
