Nikon C1 Spectral Imaging Confocal Microscope

The C1si is equipped with the following: Nikon TE2000-E2 fully motorized DIC inverted microscope; Plan Apo objectives 10x, 20x, 60x (water), 100x. Plan fluor 4x objective; filters for UV, CFP, YFP, GFP, FITC, dsRed, TRITC, CY5; Laser excitation lines of 408, 457, 488, 514, 561 and 638 nm and filters for all emissions to three PMT detectors. It also has a spectral detector with 2, 5 or 10 nm resolution for observing multistained specimens, FRET experiments, separating the signal from autofluorescence. It has software control for Z-Series, Time Series, Averaging, Channel Series and Line Series, Spectral Unmixing, FRAP and FRET.

Nikon Eclipse E800 Microscope

Status: OK

A new motorized XY stage has been installed on the Nikon E800 Microscope. This is part of the hyperspectral system, but will also allow conventional users to have motorized control of the stage and automate image collecting and montaging. Contact Mark Sanders for training and/or questions.
