I am currently developing a project to understand how the introduction of biological control agents has affected the evolutionary trajectory of purple loosestrife (Lythrum salicaria) specifically herbivore defense traits. I believe that characterizing the long-term consequences of invasive species control is critical when considering the risks and sustainability of management programs.
