Volunteer in Ecuador
Application Deadline: October 15, 2012
Explore Andean villages and volunteer in Ecuador over spring break. Join a group of students who will work with local community members on a service project at a children’s home. Discover Ecuador’s rich culture through a homestay and excursions to local markets, farms, rural community projects, and colonial Quito.

Volunteer in Guatemala
Application Deadline: October 1, 2012
Spend your spring break in the colonial city of Antigua, Guatemala. Engage with local community members through volunteer activities, private Spanish tutoring and homestays. Personalize your volunteer experience by engaging in the fields that interest you most. Possible fields include, but are not limited to: health, education, construction, and social work.

Volunteer in Ghana
Application Deadline: October 15, 2012
Spend your winter break in the heart of the Ashanti region of Ghana. Work with locals by volunteering at a family-run school and orphanage in Kumasi. You will contribute at the school in a variety of ways and design your volunteer experience to meet personal, academic, and/or future career goals.

Volunteers are invited to individualize the volunteer experience by sharing skills, interests, and passions with the students. In addition, explore Ghanaian culture through Twi language, Ghanaian music and dance, and cooking classes. Discover Ghana’s historical and contemporary society, as well as natural beauty, through half-day and full-day excursions exploring local markets and industry, national parks, and World Heritage Sites.
