The Biological Sciences Alumni Association

The Biological Sciences Alumni Society (BSAS), a constituent society of the Alumni Association (UMAA), represents all former students and friends of the College of Biological Sciences (CBS). The BSAS Board of Directors, along with other enthusiastic alumni, plans and participates in a wide range of events and programs throughout the year.

The BSAS mission is to organize a professional association for biological sciences alumni; to support the College of Biological Sciences in pursuit of its mission; to encourage and stimulate a sense of community among current students, faculty, staff, and alumni of the college; and to publicize and strengthen the ties of the college and the community at large.

Serving on the BSAS Board of Directors is an excellent way to stay in touch with CBS and the University of Minnesota. It also provides opportunities to assist biological sciences undergraduates in many ways, including mentoring, internships and scholarships.
