I have recommended the BMBB program to anyone who would listen. You'll find
the faculty here to be first-class researchers who are exceedingly
approachable and generous with their time, all around. The department
continues to try ever harder to make students feel comfortable here. You'll
be impressed by the wide array of cutting edge toys, oops I mean tools,
available to you here: just about every instrument for biochemistry or
molecular biology yet devised. But the best thing about this program has got
to be the other students. They are my best idea resource. When I'm stuck I
know that I can find a dozen suggestions at the next bench or over lunch.
So put aside any reservations about graduate school, especially
this graduate school and apply so that you can visit and see for yourself.
Then you'll get to see why Minneapolis/St. Paul is rated at the top of
America's most livable cities. Whatever you could want out of a town is
here. And if you live near the St. Paul campus you'll feel like you live in
the country, or at least it'll smell that way! That's it. A great place
to live and learn. If you need directions or think that this testimonial
was coerced, just e-mail me. I'll tell
you straight about the heights students have attained from this launching
pad.
