PROGRAM

Goals of the BMBB Postdoc Retreat

* To provide a networking opportunity to meet each other and exchange ideas.
* To discover more about other research expertise in the department.
* To promote ideas and preparations for careers in and out of academia.

Program Highlights

* located in beautiful Hyland Lake Park Visitor Center in SW Minneapolis (directions; driving map; park map)
* 4 exciting scientific sessions featuring research presentations by BMBB postdocs
* poster session
* "Taking the next steps in your career." Round table discussion and visiting speakers.
* canoeing, hiking and grilling
* retreat dinner at Buca di Beppo (Wednesday 27 June) (location and map)


Thanks to the generous support of the department, this retreat will be free* for all BMBB postdocs and we hope as many of you as possible will be able to come. * $6 per person canoe hire is not covered by the department.
